This plant is located on the beach side at Masirah Island, an exotic location on the coast of Oman. It is about 500Kms away from Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman. One has to take a 30 minute ferry ride from the mainland to reach Masirah. This is a major fish landing hub in Oman.

This facility was originally built by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Sultanate of Oman 1982. Oman National Fisheries purchased this plant from the Government of Oman in 1986 and subsequently, it was taken over by OFC in 1989. The plant was renovated and expanded in terms of capacity in 1998 and obtained the EU (European Union) certification.

One of OFC’s newer ones, this state-of-the-art plant is located in the beautiful and evergreen Dhofar region of Southern Oman. Located in the Raysut Industrial Estate in Salalah, it went operational in 2015. This is the largest of OFC’s plants, in terms of capacity.

The Salalah plant attracts fish landings from Hassik in Oman to Al-ghaydah in Yemen.

This plant is located around 350 kms from Muscat, the capital city of the Sultanate of Oman, in a picturesque setting on the Oman coast. It is right next to the fishing port at Al-Ashkara. The plant was originally built by Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in the year 1985 and Oman Fisheries took over the plant in 1991. After being taken over by OFC, it was renovated and expanded to a larger capacity in 1999.

This plant is situated around 800Kms from Muscat, the capital city of the Sultanate of Oman. Soqara is located in the Al-Wusta region of the Sultanate of Oman, abundant in marine resources. The plant was originally constructed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in the year 1985, and later transferred to OFC in 1987.

OFC built a new state-of-the-art full-fledged Processing plant at the same location, in 2015. Today, this is the largest fish processing plant in the Al-Wusta region.

Al-Buraimi is situated at around 400 kms from Muscat, the capital city of the Sultanate of Oman, close to the border with the UAE. This plant was originally owned by Oman National Fisheries in 1986. This plant is EU approved and is HACCP accredited.

The major products from this plant are Breaded & Battered Ready- to- cook seafood, to cater to customers across the world. Besides, this location also caters to export of Fresh Fish and Semi value addition of fish products.

Shomiya is major fish collection hub in the Sultanate of Oman. OFC started its fish collection center here in the year 2013. Fish purchased from this center is been distributed to Oman fisheries processing plants. The collection center is well equipped to store large volumes of fish before being sent to our processing plants.

The major species we deal with are cuttle fish, ribbon fish, humped fish, sea bream, barracuda, trevally, amberjack, mackerel, emperor etc..
